Branches of chemistry : In order to facilitate the study of the
subject and for better understanding chemistry has been divided into
several branches . The main branches of chemistry are as follows :-

1. Inorganic chemistry :It deals with the study of all the elements
and their compounds including a few compound of carbon.
2. Organic chemistry : It deals with the study of carbon compounds
derived from animals and plants.
3. Physical chemistry : It deals with the laws and theories of all branches of chemistry.
4. Analytical chemistry : It deals with detection and estimation of elements and compounds .
5. Industrial chemistry : It deals with the chemistry relating to industrial processes.
6. Biochemistry : It deals with the chemical changes which occur in living organisms.
7. Nuclear chemistry : It deals with the study of nuclear reactions,atomic structure and radio active isotopes.
